Job Summary KBR is seeking an experienced self‑starter as an Acquisition Analyst in support of an Army Project Management Office in PEO Missiles and Space. The applicant will provide contract development and contract monitoring support for assigned procurements for various weapon systems as well as assist in the development of performance work statements, contract documents, data elements, source justifications, independent government estimates, and evaluation criteria for various types of contracts and other procurement actions.
Roles And Responsibilities
Compile and analyze acquisition data for one or more discrete segments of acquisition operations.
Serve as system administrator for various Automated Data Processing (ADP) systems.
Prepare narratives and statistical data; analyze information; identify progress, deficiencies and problems; conduct studies.
Review and analyze acquisition data to provide responses from higher headquarters, investigative activities, and audit responses to congressional inquiries.
Conduct studies of problem deficiencies limited to an individual buying area, identified by a higher graded analyst.
Propose remedial action prior to report submissions.
Prepare a variety of recurring and non‑recurring statistical reports.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.
BA/BS Degree and 2 years of experience related to job responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a US Army Project or Product Office providing acquisition support.
Experience in data interpretation, data analysis and data management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving, analytic, and communication skills.
Current secret clearance.
