About the role

The Food and Beverage Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the seamless daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, contributing to the exceptional guest experience and renowned service standards of Four Seasons Hotel New York. What you will do

Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls and emails in accordance with Four Seasons Standards and assist with calls for the Food & Beverage Division Type correspondence, reports, composition of letters, and memorandums; open, examine, sort, incoming mail and when appropriate gather information necessary for response; take and distribute departmental and divisional meeting minutes. Oversee a variety of administrative and operational tasks including payroll processing, extra pays and tip sheets, collection of time-off forms, ADP punch management, and daily updates to team channels and shared folders Coordinates ordering and inventory functions for IRD and Culinary, manages BEOs labels and stationery, tracks amenities, and supports departmental purchases including special buys Maintain files, schedules, and calendars for management members of the Food & Beverage Division; coordinate, set and confirm interviews and appointments. Assist in completing special projects which may include mailings, competitive surveys, menus, or other assigned duties; maintain and order office supplies. Maintain policy and standard manuals; update and distribute as necessary. Support the Food & Beverage Management team in sourcing products, create vendors and PO’s and track deliveries, create regular requisitions and assist with inventories Assist with local printing such as buffet labels, recipes, special event menus, guest requests, food and beverage tastings Assist in taking reservations for all special events, including Holidays Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. What you bring

Education:

High school education or equivalent experience Experience:

Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a coordinator role or related position with Four Seasons or other organizations. Skills and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with the leadership team, colleagues and vendors. Ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Requires ability to operate computer equipment. UniFocus, ADP and Open Table systems knowledge preferred. What we offer

This role is a full-time on-site role. Flexible work schedule is required, with possibility of working weekends and holidays. Pay
