Responsibilities
Sales and Profit: Infuse your passion for Claire's products into achieving retail store targets, fostering growth, and spreading the joy of self-expression; implement strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.

Piercing Excellence: Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Become a trusted guide for customers—conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions throughout the process.
Store Operations: Keep the heartbeat of our store strong by overseeing operations with efficiency and flair. Manage inventory, handle cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinate promotional activities.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and provide direction and development to your team. Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results.
Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products and services with enthusiasm, offer fashion-related tips, and ensure the store is well‑merchandised reflecting the latest trends.
About You
Sales‑Driven Mindset: Thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets and seek opportunities to maximize results.
Customer‑Centric Approach: Passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and guide customers with expertise.
Strong Communication & Selling Skills: Engage customers, build relationships, and close sales effectively.
Ability to Work Independently: Self‑motivated, organized, and able to take charge when needed.
Job Requirements
Conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially for young or anxious customers.
Proficient in operating a POS system for efficient transaction handling.
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1–2 years of retail management experience.
Physically able to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11–35 kg (25–75 lbs).
Can bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
Passionate about empowering customers to express themselves freely.
Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently when required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, employees, and management.
Grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
Team leadership with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Passion for fashion and staying up to date with the latest trends to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Ability to create a curated fashion look with product during your shift.

Compensation Range:
$17.00 – $19.50 per hour.
Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
Benefits for full‑time employees include medical, dental, and vision insurance, voluntary welfare plans, bonus plan eligibility, 401(k) match, vacation time, sick time, and paid leave. Part‑time benefits include voluntary welfare plans, 401(k) match, vacation time, sick time, and paid leave in required states.
Sick Time: For Washington, all employees accrue paid sick time at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
