Location: Remote, home‑base centrally located within Regional Geography – Central Great Lakes region, Kansas City, St. Louis OR Pictsweet Corporate HQ in Bells, TN (Jackson, TN area).
Overview: The Pictsweet Company, a family‑owned frozen vegetable producer, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for our Central US territory. The Manager will oversee account management of Pictsweet Farms branded frozen vegetables, guiding broker organizations to achieve sales, profitability, and market share in line with projected goals.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain competent broker representatives; train and motivate them to meet sales and marketing objectives.
Effectively manage trade‑fund accruals within company guidelines.
Evaluate trade spending and develop efficient trade‑marketing plans.
Assist Category Management with market analytics and support materials for brokers.
Analyze broker effectiveness and take corrective action to achieve sales goals.
Develop close relationships with customers and brokers.
Monitor retail store conditions and implement company marketing plans.
Track distribution, promotion effectiveness, freezer positioning, and pricing in the market.
Set and attain fiscal sales quotas for the area.
Deliver professional presentations to customers on a regular basis.
Keep brokers informed of market conditions, competitive activity, product, pricing, and marketing updates.
Maintain communication with the Director of Branded Sales and VP of Branded Sales on field conditions.
Entertain customers through approved events (dinners, golf, sports, social events).
Comply with administrative requirements and perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of sales experience.
Direct‑sales and/or food broker account management experience.
Sales team supervision/management experience preferred.
Education Bachelor’s degree required.
Special Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent mathematical, analytical and communication skills.
Other Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level.
