S&S Tire is expanding- AGAIN! Since 1974, S&S Tire has grown from a single retail tire store in Lexington, KY to a thriving third-generation, family-owned business that serves 18 states. We are now looking for an experienced and skilled CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to join our Lexington team! This position involves hauling oversized equipment as well as OTR (off-the-road) tires. The ideal candidate would be proficient in in operating a Class 8 tractor in combination with flat bed trailers, including Landoll and step-deck trailers.
Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:
Operating a Class 8 trucks with a Class A CDL, always maintaining the highest standard of safety. Accurately measure, secure and transport loads according to federal, state, and company regulations. Transport a range of equipment, including oversized equipment and OTR (off-the-road) tires designed for construction and mining vehicles. Utilize specialized trailers, including Landoll hydraulic trailers as well as step-deck trailers. Plan and navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel regarding deliveries. Maintain detailed and accurate records and turn in all necessary paperwork. Provide excellent customer service during all interactions. Position Includes:

Job Requirements:
Must have a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test, as well as company background check Minimum 1-year verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle (over 10,000 lbs) Must be physically capable of securing loads, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed Good motor vehicle record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years) Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment Flatbed experience a plus, not required
