A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to cover a maternity leave assignment in an elementary school setting in Chicago, IL. This contract position runs from February 2026 through June 2, 2026, providing an opportunity to work with an elementary caseload during a defined leave period.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to elementary students
Manage and document student progress in alignment with school goals
Collaborate with educators and staff as needed within contracted hours
Qualifications
Certification in Speech Language Pathology (SLP – CCC or CFY preferred)
Experience working as an SLP in school settings, ideally within elementary caseloads
Valid licensure or eligibility to work in Illinois
Additional Details
Guaranteed work hours with pay for both direct and indirect services
No additional district duties such as bus duty or parent pickup
Travel therapists may be eligible for stipends
