Job Summary:
Provides Clients and Front Office optimal experience through effective onboarding and communication
Responsible for coordinating onboarding requests only for OTC/Derivatives cases and ensuring they are fulfilled specifically Mizuho’s KYC, Regulatory, Credit, and Legal processes in a timely and accurate manner
Major Responsibilities:
Assist with implementation of a client centric approach that focuses on delivering optimal onboarding experience for The Client by ensuring all onboarding requirements are met in a timely manner
Proactively manage queue of onboarding OTC/derivatives requests through reporting and directly interfacing with Front Office
Execute routines to collect and implement feedback from clients and front office to ensure continuous improvement and voice of the customer is being applied to process
Work with Front Office to fulfill onboarding requests with all pertinent, available KYC, Tax, Regulatory, Legal, and Credit information
Evaluate onboarding requests ahead of time to understand complexities to determine what areas will require most support
Coordinate / align KYC, Regulatory, Credit, Legal resources to requests and proactively escalating capacity issues that may exist to fulfillment
Partner and advise with CSG, Legal, and Credit as they execute their respective processes, applying KYC, Regulatory, Credit, Legal expertise as appropriate
Identify potential skills gaps to inform training and procedural documentation
Evaluate new types of product Mizuho creates for its customers and implication in the onboarding process
Understand policy changes socialized by Compliance and implications to the onboarding process
Manage end to end Onboarding coordination for OTC Derivatives and Equities Derivatives business, Securities and Bank onboardings for Corporate clients
Produce Metrics and support documentation
Assist in any Audit requests and questions or fixing any regulatory breaks as directed by Head of Client Integration
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and experience working with Front Office and clients
Appropriate and confidential handling of client data
Any prior exposure to/experience with banking & securities products including KYC, Regulatory, Legal, and/or Credit skills is a plus but not required
The expected base salary ranges from $64,000 - $75,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
