About The Position Barton is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 9-month locum tenens assignment in Maine, beginning Oct 13, 2025. Hours include 8a - 5p shifts for the first 3 months, then 8a - 8p shifts. The selected locum will be handling back pain, brain injuries, disabilities, and other internal medicine cases. There is also a chance for an extension with this opportunity. Job Details Location: Maine Start Date : Oct 13, 2025 LOA : 9 months Provider Type Needed : Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Once a month for 8 hours during the first three months; twice a month for 8 or 12 hours during the next three months; specific dates determined with provider availability Responsibilities and Duties Conduct monthly on-site evaluations of patients Provide medical attention as needed during scheduled visits Develop and arrange care plans for patients Collaborate with other healthcare providers as appropriate Additional Information Active Maine license required Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
