As the Pre-Owned Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-owned vehicle inventory, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Manage the pre-owned vehicle inventory, including acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and reconditioning Pencil and close deals to maximize department profitability Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective pricing strategies and promotions to maximize sales and profitability Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and repairs are completed promptly and accurately Supervise and train department staff, providing guidance and support to achieve team objectives Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed Prepare reports on inventory status, sales performance, and profitability for management review Requirements:
Previous experience in dealership pre-owned department management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in inventory aquisition, management, and pricing strategies Knowledge of automotive industry trends and customer preferences Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Benefits: At Keffer Mazda, we value our employees and offer a competitive compensation package.
