Nurse Anesthetist CRNA (PRN) Location: Near Beaufort, NC Department: Anesthesiology Status: PRN | Day Shift Rate:
$200 - $230 hour + hotel lodging
Position Summary Our client is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a PRN basis. This role involves the safe administration of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, and various medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities Administer general anesthesia to patients, ensuring pain-free surgical or medical procedures Prepare and maintain all anesthesia-related equipment and medications Monitor patient vital signs and manage physiological stability throughout procedures Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and educate patients on the process Document anesthetic techniques and patient responses accurately Assist with post-anesthesia care and take remedial action to manage complications Provide instruction and supervision to student nurse anesthetists and other healthcare learners Maintain anesthesia records and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited CRNA program (MSN, DNP, or DNAP) Licensure & Certification: Current RN license recognized by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) Approval to practice as a CRNA in North Carolina Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Experience: No additional experience required beyond completion of CRNA training
