Mechanical Wire Drawing Technician Pay: $19.00 per hour Shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
(Permanent shift after training). 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Training)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturday work)
Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Mechanical Wire Drawing Technician to support our metal fabrication operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and prior machine operation experience. The position starts with 4–6 weeks of training on the 1st shift, followed by a transition to the 2nd or 3rd shift. Responsibilities
Operate wire drawing machines to manufacture precision wire products Monitor equipment performance and make mechanical adjustments as needed Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production logs Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications
Previous experience in machine operation, mechanical assembly, or industrial production Strong mechanical skills and understanding of manufacturing equipment Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
