Job Description Salary: Introduction: At TCM our strategy is grounded in utilizing industry specific platforms for property acquisition and development across multiple verticals to generate rental income, implement ancillary income streams, and capture long-term asset appreciation. Our primary portfolio platform is Middleton Meyers, which owns and operates 984 multi-family rental units in Charlotte, NC. At TCM, we are excited to be expanding into different real estate asset classes such as Industrial Outdoor Storage, Single-Family rentals, and distressed asset third-party management opportunities.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Multi-Family Construction Worker
with expertise in
renovation and repairs
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in remodeling, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, plumbing, and electrical work, focusing on maintaining and upgrading multi-family residential properties. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of our renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities: Perform renovations and repairs on multi-family residential buildings, including but not limited to
framing, drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and trim work . Conduct maintenance and repairs of
plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
as needed. Install, repair, or replace
doors, windows, fixtures, and appliances
in units and common areas. Ensure all work complies with
local building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards . Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to complete jobs
on time and within budget . Identify and report any
structural or safety issues
that require further attention. Maintain a
clean and organized
work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Interact professionally with tenants, property managers, and other stakeholders when working in occupied units. Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of experience
in multi-family construction, renovations, or related fields. Strong knowledge of
carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and basic
plumbing/electrical
work . Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Understanding
blueprints, work orders, and building codes . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work
independently and as part of a team
in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform strenuous tasks. Valid
drivers license and reliable transportation
preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on
occupied multi-family properties . Certification in
OSHA safety training . Experience with
welding, roofing, or HVAC systems
is a plus.
