BILH coversheet required at time of submission. 5 Days a week, 8H shifts, 7a-5p. Phlebotomists will be utilized for the outpatient lab drawing stations at Exeter. Must have outpatient experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and other specimen collection procedures safely and efficiently. Verify patient identity using two identifiers and ensure accurate labeling of all specimens. Collect, process, and prepare specimens for transport to main laboratory or reference labs. Enter orders, test codes, and patient information accurately into the system. Maintain phlebotomy supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization of the outpatient collection area. Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols. Respond to patient inquiries courteously, providing clear explanations of procedures. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program. Experience: 2+ years of experience required, preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience with EPIC. Licensure/Certification: Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (e.g., ASCP, NHA, AMT, or equivalent) . BLS-AHA. Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months in order to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
