Manufacturing Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Technician. Job Location: Hilton Head Island, SC 29926 Job Duration: 12 plus Months Contract

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Focusing on Laser Transmitter manufacturing and working within a cleanroom environment performing day-to-day operational needs of the business.
• Installing, aligning, and operating laser transmitters and components.
• Assisting in the build techniques to ensure the successful product output from the cleanroom and laser operations area.
• Developing techniques and procedures for building lasers.
• Assembling and testing optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies.
• Completing optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with high attention to detail.
• Building wiring harness, soldering, and performing PCB assembly of electrical and electrooptical subassemblies.
• Identifying problems and issues, resolving most issues, and making recommendations for improvements in yield.
• Ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed.
• Demonstrating ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
• Performing job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Following established processes to complete tasks.
• All other assignments as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 to 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• 3+ years contributing to a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Able to work weekends and evenings as required to meet company objectives.

Pay Range*: $20-$23 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
