A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Clearlake, CA. This is a contract role with a Monday through Friday schedule, providing direct support to students within the school environment. The position involves replacing a Virtual Therapist; however, this opportunity does not include VOCO therapy.
Key Qualifications
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials (SLP, CCC preferred) Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings Strong knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and individualized education planning Effective communication skills with students, families, and educational staff Ability to implement therapy in person following current best practices and school policies
Responsibilities
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Participate in meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs within the school setting
