Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of asbestos litigation matters, from initial intake through to resolution. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for our clients. Conduct thorough and meticulous legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and evidence in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner. Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals, contributing to a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar. A minimum of 5 years' experience in asbestos litigation, with a particular focus on toxic tort and plaintiff representation. Proven track record of success in trial. Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documents. Strong oral advocacy skills, with the ability to present arguments and evidence in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
