Responsibilities
The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) is recognized as a Best Regional Hospital and is ranked 5th in the D.C. region. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. It has received High Performing designations in Neurology and Neuroscience, and in multiple procedures including COPD, Diabetes, Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Kidney Failure, Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma, Lung Cancer Surgery, Pneumonia, Prostate Cancer Surgery, and Stroke.
As a Phlebotomist, you will perform specimen collection, specimen processing, and administrative tasks associated with the clinical assessment of patients. You will serve as a liaison to house staff, patient care services, medical students, physicians, etc., ensuring quality patient care and maintaining accreditation with JCAHO, CAP, and DCRA.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
