The vision of the Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. POSITION SUMMARY
With minimum supervision, responsible for a variety of assemble/test functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules. This is an open role on split shift (11 AM-9:30 PM Mon‑Thur).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
- Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specification. Assemble/test to customer and/or industry standards.
- Perform touch‑up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze, etc. Mix paint and clean parts.
- Support braze furnace operating procedures.
- Actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement.
- Observe all safety rules and maintain foreign object damage (FOD) free work areas.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
- May perform other related responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred.
- May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
- Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Possess effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
