The Transaction Operations Lean Process Excellence team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive reporting and data analytics initiatives within the Regional Operations team that make the organization more efficient, more effective, and more profitable. This role involves partnering with a broad scope of stakeholders to design, build, and implement data analytics tools in an operational environment. This individual will thrive in a high-growth, collaborative, dynamic environment and will create an environment that is relentlessly focused on building robust, accurate, and user-friendly tools and dashboards. This is a full-time position that will report directly into the Director of Lean Process Excellence, Analytics, and Reporting.

At Compass You Will
Work with complex data sets to architect and validate accurate solutions for tracking long-term performance of teams and individuals and prioritize work.
Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders to define and align on functional requirements that capture the voice of the customer and the voice of the process.
Analyze trends in data to suggest actions for improving/adherence to Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
Build compelling visualizations and artifacts using tools such as Microsoft Power BI to empower end users to self-serve and use data in their day-to-day processes.
Collaborate with other Data Scientists and Project Managers to ensure consistency in the Suite of reporting and good user experience.
Contribute to a data-driven culture focused on leveraging data insights for key strategic and tactical decisions.
Collaborate with central Business Intelligence and Data Quality teams to ensure adherence and contribute to data governance, data hygiene, and data quality.
What We Look For
3+ years of relevant industry experience in a technical engineering and/or analytics capacity
Proven experience working with business users to translate requirements into scalable assets that deliver actionable insights and enable self-service analysis
Advanced SQL, DAX and data modeling skills
Proficient programming skills in data transformation and preparation using SQL and/or Python
Proven experience in data wrangling and developing visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc
Experience working with cloud-based data lakehouses (e.g., Databricks, Redshift)
Strong understanding of data modeling and software engineering best practices
Preferred experience with a programming language (Python, PySpark, R, Scala, etc)
Growth mindset, self-starter with a desire to continually learn and improve
Team player, willingness to work within a collaborative team environment
Passion for solving challenging, complex problems in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $85,800 - $128,800 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
