Base pay range

$66,560.00/yr - $79,040.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, forklifts, balers, shears, shredders, highway trucks, and trailers
• Diagnose, repair, and replace hydraulic systems, swing motors, and track drives
• Conduct engine repairs and overhauls as needed
• Weld, cut, and fabricate parts or components when necessary
• Maintain maintenance logs, parts inventory, and service records
• Follow strict safety protocols and ensure all repairs meet operational standards
• Collaborate with the Vice President and other team members to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or field service technician
• Strong mechanical aptitude in hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical components
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues independently
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow OEM service manuals and schematics
• Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality craftsmanship
• Valid driver’s license
