Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Aluminum Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in TIG welding, particularly with aluminum, and a commitment to producing high‑quality, precise welds.

As a TIG Aluminum Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding aluminum components and assemblies according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints, and experience working with thin‑gauge aluminum.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum parts and assemblies with precision
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, fitting, and cleaning surfaces
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Perform touch‑ups or repairs on welded components as necessary
• Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition
• Follow company safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Requirements

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience with aluminum
• Skilled in welding thin and thick aluminum materials
• Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Must provide own welding hood and basic tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, safety‑conscious, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent)
• Experience in fabrication, aerospace, marine, or automotive aluminum welding
• Knowledge of MIG welding and other processes a plus
