Overview
Executive Assistant to the Co-Founder, COO at Distyl. The role provides critical operational and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Manage the COO’s complex and dynamic calendar, coordinate meetings and cross-functional sessions, prepare materials and agendas, and handle travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Operational & Administrative Support: Act as a strategic partner to drive prioritization, build and optimize systems to improve operational excellence, track strategic priorities, surface blockers, and ensure follow-through across teams; anticipate needs and provide leverage through effective time management and preparation; synthesize insights from multiple workstreams to keep the COO focused on the highest-impact areas.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience supporting a C-level executive, ideally in a startup, operations, or high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, competing priorities, and highly confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage professionally across all levels of the organization.
- Highly resourceful and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and stay several steps ahead.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools such as G Suite, Slack, Notion, project management platforms, and expense systems.
- Calm under pressure, adaptable to shifting priorities, and solutions-oriented.
- Based in New York City, with flexibility for occasional travel to company offsites, meetings, or events.

Note: Distyl is a hybrid working environment and requires in-office collaboration 3 days per week in one of our offices. We have offices in New York City and San Francisco.
