Overview

Position Overview: Entrada Partners Management is an in-house commercial property management company specializing in light industrial and flex assets. We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting functions for a portfolio of commercial properties. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our portfolio, ensuring compliance, and supporting leadership with timely and insightful financial reporting. This role requires experience in real estate or property management accounting.

This role is on-site Monday through Thursday in San Antonio, Texas with the option to work from home on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of light industrial and flex properties.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow reports, and variance analysis.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Partner with Asset Management and Property Management teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Manage CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and annual budgets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as needed.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting process improvements.
• Support ownership with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; property management or commercial real estate experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Strong understanding of CAM reconciliations.
• Experience with Yardi property management accounting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
