We are seeking a diligent and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and controlling equipment, systems, and processes. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will also execute the production schedule to achieve production goals, handle labeling and components accurately, and actively participate in event responses.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes.
- Clean and sanitize manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment per SOPs.
- Execute the production schedule to achieve production goals.
- Handle labeling and components correctly, including transferring, counting, FIFO, and returns.
- Actively participate in and support event responses.
- Review and author SOPs and other necessary documents.
- Identify, report, and resolve quality issues.
- Execute and/or assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive and preventative maintenance.
- Train fellow employees in areas of expertise and learn systems and equipment outside of your expertise.
- Record and review production data in BPR and associated forms.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
- Perform other accountabilities as assigned.
- Experience in GMP environments and cleanrooms.
- Previous experience in manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of GMP and regulated environments.
- Punctuality and presence on scheduled days.
- Ability to stay on-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
This position requires working the day shift from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The role is part of a de-labeling project expected to last between 2 to 4 months.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Durham, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
