About The Team ECC (Edge Compute and Communications) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for producing and maturing a diverse array of command and control ground systems products that are deployed across the entire military echelon.
Deployable TSCIF/SAPF certified self-contained shelters (Menace-I)
Expeditionary vehicle & on-the-move form factors (Menace-X)
Human-portable, roll-on/roll-off form factors (Menace-T)
Human-worn form factors (Eagle Eye)
Rugged Edge Compute, Comms, Chassis (Voyager)
This role is ideal for a traditional systems engineer who thrives in a documentation and data-intensive environment, and who is excited to bridge the gap between hardware, software, electrical, thermal, compliance, and contract disciplines.
Key Responsibilities Systems Integration & Decomposition
Develop and refine system requirements, ensuring robust and testable specifications.
Perform detailed system decompositions and validations to integrate multidisciplinary technologies.
Collaborate across hardware, software, electrical, thermal, and compliance areas to build systems that meet rigorous military standards.
Documentation & Process Development
Create comprehensive engineering documents, including ICDs, validation processes, and performance metrics.
Utilize industry tools (e.g., Cameo, MBSC, digital twin frameworks) to produce system views and architectural models.
Lead the production of essential documentation and data streams that inform and guide product maturity strategies.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
Interface with Systems Architects and lead disciplines to ensure the day‑to‑day delivery of baseline system designs.
Address and manage technical debt efficiently, operating in the “hot seat” to deliver critical documents and maintain system balance.
Ensure systems are production‑ready by managing interfaces and ensuring compliance through robust verification and validation strategies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in systems engineering within a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
History of successfully developing, documenting, and maturing systems to meet production requirements.
Adept at managing technical debt, creating strong requirements, and driving validation processes.
Familiarity with military standards and compliance is a plus.
Excellent documentation skills and proficiency with tools such as Cameo for modeling and system visualization.
US Salary Range $132,000—$198,000 USD
