We’re hiring a Senior Mechanical Estimator in Dallas, TX to lead takeoffs and pricing for large commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.

Deliver accurate, competitive estimates for high-value jobs
Help win complex projects across healthcare, education, tech, and more
Support preconstruction with clear, detailed cost data
Be a go-to expert for estimating mechanical scopes
Responsibilities
Perform takeoffs using software like FastPipe, FastDuct, Trimble, or AutoBid
Review drawings and specs to scope HVAC, piping, and plumbing
Price large mechanical projects ($5M–$50M) across commercial sectors
Coordinate with project teams on bid strategy and handoff
Track budgets, proposals, and estimating data
Assist with value engineering and proposal reviews
Requirements Must-Haves
Local to Dallas with a solid, stable work history
5+ years of commercial mechanical estimating experience
Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
Proficient with takeoff tools (FastPipe, QuickPen, Trimble, etc.)
Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field experience
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with large projects: hospitals, schools, data centers, labs, arenas, fabs
Familiar with Viewpoint, Maxwell, or similar estimating platforms
Past hands‑on field experience (duct, piping, or plumbing)
