Overview
Provides administrative assistance to multiple medical departments critical to plan, direct, monitor, communicate and evaluate all professional services (Clinical, Administrative, Research, Teaching) through collaboration with faculty, administrative and medical leadership, as well as nursing and ancillary leaders. The manager will organize, analyze, summarize and report critical information for assigned departments in partnership with department leadership.

Responsibilities
Administrative, Professional, Financial, Academic, and strategic operations partnership and assistance for assigned departments
Personnel management for faculty, Service Excellence, and HR leadership for Maternal Fetal Medicine
Serves as the lead project manager for programs and initiatives on behalf of faculty members, and / or the administrative leadership teams and participates in organizational performance improvement activities;
Qualifications
Master's Degree preferred and 1-2 years experience Administrative fellowship experience considered but not required towards experience requirement. or
Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years experience Job requires demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects / responsibilities simultaneously. Significant collaboration and communication skills are required due to matrix reporting structure and peer co-leadership responsibilities within the department. Healthcare background is preferred. Relevant experience or coursework in human resources, medical practice / professional services, business administration, healthcare administration, management, accounting, finance, or public health. Strong analytical and technological working knowledge and abilities and strong financial management skills. Demonstrated understanding of budget development and management; billing operations, reimbursements, financial contracts and consulting agreements. A team player as well as a team builder who is able to delegate appropriately, make difficult decisions and lead by example. Demonstrated skills in personnel management and policy implementation.

Starting Pay Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $35.91 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
