Lead architecture, design, development, and support of Berkley’s identity environments. Interact with shared services teams, applications teams, and business units to meet project goals. Manage staff responsible for all aspects of Identity, design, and implementation. Collaborate with IT Security team to ensure compliance and security. Oversee implementation and operations of IAM solutions. Gather and document functional requirements and technical designs. Manage cross-functional IT teams for IAM product integrations and configuration. Manage operational processes related to identity and access management. Implement, integrate, and support computer systems in a multi-platform environment. Handle system configuration, vendor management, problem mitigation, change management, and critical situations. Coordinate with architecture groups for unified direction. Research new developments and recommend additions or replacements. Oversee multiple system projects including deployment and development. Manage staffing, including sourcing talent, performance, motivation, and skills development. Manage budget, financial tracking, and procurement. Provide mentoring, coaching, and team leadership. Collaborate with project managers and technical staff. Conduct performance management, goal setting, and coaching. Provide project management and technical consulting on IAM initiatives. Report on project progress and team performance. Ensure license compliance and manage budgets and legal reviews for IAM products. Define and implement policies for enterprise IAM, including Privileged Access Management. Maintain and enhance multi-factor authentication solutions. Define policies for delegated administration in AD and EntraID. Perform other duties as assigned. Subject to on-call duties 24/7. Qualifications

Ability to translate business problems and processes into service and process requirements. Minimum 8 years of management experience. At least 5 years of experience with software configuration and installation across heterogeneous platforms. Minimum 10 years of experience in IT environments. At least 3 years in leadership or supervisory roles. Extensive knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, Auth0, and EntraID. Experience with Active Directory or similar Identity services for at least 8 years. Experience managing enterprise-scale IAM projects and tools. Industry experience in P&C insurance is a plus. Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Microsoft Azure/Identity and AWS certifications are advantageous. Leadership Values and Attributes
