Position Summary
Per Diem Social Worker needed for Boston Children’s Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental difficulties.
Performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses, and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.
Participating in planning and implementation of discharge and outpatient service plans and collaborating with health care team and community agencies to plan.
Implementing and following up on treatment and provision of needed services.
Education
Master’s degree in social work
Experience
Flexibility and ability to work in fast‑paced multidisciplinary team environment as well as excellent communication skills.
Experience with social services agencies, understanding of social determinants of health and trauma ideal.
Bilingual/bicultural/diverse candidates are encouraged to apply. Spanish speaking a plus!
Licensure/Certifications
Active LICSW in the state of Massachusetts
