Scope and Responsibilities Summary:

Manages all activities related to Warehouse and Transportation. Develops logistics strategy to facilitate the cost‑effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers. Oversees Warehouse Leads, Inventory Supervisor, and Traffic Coordinator.

Essential Functions

Provide direction and support for all teams (warehouse/traffic/inventory coordinator).

Team training and development.

Reinforce company policies (Food & EE safety, Quality, Regulatory, Disciplinary, GMPs).

Coordinate all warehousing activities with Traffic, Production, and QA.

Ensure that incoming material is inspected for conformity with order specifications and checked for defects.

Ensure all activities concerning replenishment, handling, and warehousing of raw materials, packaging supplies & finished goods are properly executed.

Manage warehouse employees’ tasks to ensure adherence to daily inbound/outbound transportation schedule & receipt of goods.

Monitor warehouse material movement transactions to ensure proper recording in SAP.

Maintain MSS records and warehouse cleanliness to meet BRC standards.

Ensure conformance of shipment with bill of lading; validate outbound shipments for quality & accuracy to prevent complaints.

Ensure on‑time delivery of material to production line.

Communicate with customer service, planning, and production regarding any relevant changes.

Fleet management.

Supervise inventory accuracy & cycle counts.

Work directly with finance controller on investigating & balancing MUV.

Optimize cycle count process.

Ensure inventory accuracy of raw material, packaging, finished goods, rework.

Manage inventory levels and safety stocks.

Report and explain all inventory variances; coordinate control of inventory differences.

Ensure integrity and accuracy of data & reports.

Direct involvement in compliance audits—mock recalls, inventory audits, semi‑annual inventory wall‑to‑wall audits.

Budget adherence (Labor/Equipment/Capital).

Lead and participate in operations/site project teams as required.

Develop, track, and publish weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators.

Weekly reporting on delivery performance and other corporate account activities.

Adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements.

Responsible and decision maker of all procedures and processes for local logistics activities.

Formulate processes within legal requirements; ensure food safety of all formulations and samples.

Committed to providing a safe food product.

Work within all regulatory requirements.

Adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety and food defense requirements.

Job Qualifications

5+ years in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally in food manufacturing.

Expert knowledge of SAP and WMS appropriate modules.

Excellent computer skills including Excel required; ERP or related experience needed, SAP experience is a plus.

Leadership experience required (supervision/management).

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Additional Requirements

Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and organization skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office with expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced office environment.
