About the role As a sales engineer, you’ll be helping enterprise customers understand and adopt E2B. You’ll guide them from initial evaluation through production readiness—conducting technical demos, proving feasibility through POCs, and ensuring successful deployments across their infrastructure (multi-cloud, on-premise, or hybrid).

You’ll serve as the bridge between customers and our engineering team, translating their technical requirements and feedback into actionable product improvements. When customers need features we don’t support yet, you’ll build the internal case for prioritizing them on our roadmap.

You’ll be comfortable discussing security requirements with CISOs, demonstrating integrations with CTOs, and troubleshooting deployment issues with engineering teams—while managing multiple enterprise sales cycles simultaneously.

You’ll be our first sales engineer, building our enterprise motion from the ground up. This means defining our demo stack, creating our security questionnaire responses, and establishing our POC playbook.

What we expect from you

3+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical pre‑sales for developer tools or infrastructure products

Strong experience with any of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go and modern AI tools (LLMs, AI SDK, LangChain, CrewAI…)

Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and enterprise on‑premise environments

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) or similar tooling

Excellent communication skills—can explain complex concepts to both technical and business audiences

Track record building technical relationships with enterprise customers through full sales cycle

Self‑driven with ability to juggle multiple deals and prioritize effectively

Excited to work in person from San Francisco

Working closely with GTM team and CEO

Nice-to-have:

Experience with security/compliance conversations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)

Familiarity with AI agent architectures and LLM application patterns

Previous experience at developer tools or infrastructure startups
