We are seeking experienced physicians specializing in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds to join our team on a locum tenens basis near St. Louis, MO. This role is designed for those who are passionate about providing high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, managing a variety of urgent care needs for both pediatric and adult patients. Requirements:
Board Certification: Must be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency completion. Certification must be from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board (AOB). Other certifications are not accepted.
Licensure:
Licensed in MO or through IMLC.
Certifications: BLS: Yes ACLS: No ATLS: No ABLS: No PALS: No
Preferred Candidate Profile: Must be comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients (generally 6 months and up). Experience with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and reading EKGs and X-rays. Familiarity with EMR systems is essential; Epic training will be provided post-credentialing.

Centers Operating Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (12-hour shifts) Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (8-hour shifts) No overtime will be granted.

Physicians will be working in a state-of-the-art urgent care clinic that includes lab and mobile X-ray facilities. Providers must be skilled in treating patients of all ages, from 6 months and up, for a wide range of urgent care needs. Responsibilities include performing minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, reading X-rays, and ECGs, as well as placing IVs. Collaboration with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology techs is required, though no RN/LPN support is available.
