Job Title: Assembler I, General Location: Sumter, SC 29153 Pay Rate: $15.00/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential Schedule: Shift: 8pm-8am, Flexible shifts; must be available for extended hours as needed Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire Position Overview A-Line Staffing is seeking an Overnight Assembler I, General for a leading medical device manufacturer in Sumter, SC. This role involves hands-on work in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of high-quality medical products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow in a team-based manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, and packaging of medical devices. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment. Conduct in-process quality inspections in compliance with SOPs and established standards. Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines. Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Rotate through different tasks and work areas as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 0–1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience (medical device experience a plus). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English-language specifications and perform basic math. Comfortable using precision tools such as microscopes and other measuring instruments. Excellent attention to detail and quality. Must be dependable and able to work a consistent schedule. Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
