Position: Seasonal Jewelry Assembler

Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Jewelry Assembler to join our production team. This role focuses primarily on the assembly of custom jewelry pieces, ensuring each product meets our standards for quality, precision, and craftsmanship. You may also occasionally operate laser engraving machines to personalize jewelry as needed. Training may begin with reduced hours, and schedules expand as production ramps up toward peak.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble jewelry components such as chains, clasps, pendants, and charms with precision
• Inspect and test assembled items to ensure quality and accuracy
• Size rings to customer specifications
• Package finished jewelry in branded jewelry boxes for shipment
• Package and ship products in accordance with internal fulfillment standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Occasionally operate laser engraving equipment to customize jewelry with names or designs (training provided)
• Work as part of a collaborative production team. While assigned primarily to jewelry assembly, all employees may assist in other departments as needed to meet seasonal demand.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
• Comfortable working with small, delicate components in a repetitive, hands-on role
• Comfortable working with pliers and other jewelry assembling tools for extended periods of time
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the company
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet daily production goals
• Basic computer literacy is a plus (for laser operation and shipping software, if assigned)
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in jewelry making, crafts, or small-parts assembly preferred
• No electroplating or chemical handling experience required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 15–20 pounds occasionally
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Strong visual acuity for working with small, detailed items

Seasonal Schedules

• Employment runs early–mid October through mid-December (exact dates depend on production volume).
• Training schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

• Our production schedule is scaled with holiday demand. Your preference for day and night shifts is used when assigning shifts as the season progresses.
