About the role:
Squire’s Human Resources team is seeking an HR Intern to assist with a short-term project supporting the firm’s transition to a new benefits provider. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in HR operations, employee communications, and project coordination while contributing to an impactful initiative that affects the entire firm. This internship would last for 6-8 weeks during the months of November and December.
Responsibilities:
- Support the HR team in coordinating the transition of employee benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, HSA, life, and other voluntary benefits).
- Assist in reviewing and organizing benefits-related data, documentation, and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Help prepare employee communication materials and resources to support the rollout of the new benefits platform.
- Participate in project meetings, take notes, and track action items related to vendor implementation and testing.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, file management, and assisting with open enrollment preparation.
- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience during the transition.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and online HR systems.
- Proactive and eager to learn about HR operations and benefits administration.
Job Status: Full-Time hourly or Part-Time hourly
