They specialize in delivering custom-engineered products that meet the highest quality and performance standards.Role OverviewThe Design Engineer will be responsible for creating, developing, and improving product designs from concept through to production. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and project management skills, ensuring that innovative designs are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with industry standards.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Designing products, components, or systems using CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
- Performing design calculations, simulations, and testing to ensure performance and safety.
- Selecting materials, processes, and technologies for optimal results.
- Leading multiple design projects, coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.
- Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and safety standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Developing and testing prototypes, analyzing results, and refining designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within an AS9100 environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and knowledge of GD&T.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and potting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
