Overview:
The Senior Data & Insight Reporting Analyst plays a key role in leveraging data to drive informed business decisions across operational areas. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes and a strong analytical mindset to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and solve complex problems. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

Job Summary:  
This Senior role uses in-depth knowledge of Operations areas to conducts data analysis to help drive business decisions and help to solve complex problems as well as take a new perspective on existing solutions.

The Senior Data & Insight Reporting Analyst:

  • Conducts data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions.
  • Captures, develops, and documents data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
  • Creates and produces dashboards, reports, ad hoc requests, forecasts, etc.
  • Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
  • Develops reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Identifies and defines both process and data improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis.


Qualifications – External:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to “tell a story”, as well as provide recommendations with data trends.
  • Experience with different applications and querying used by the business, SQL proficiency is a must have, and preference to experience with Tableau, Python, R Studio, Power BI
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
