Backend Engineer. As a Backend Engineer, you will design and implement high-quality features in the backend of a cybersecurity threat detection solution for the OT world, written in Python on a Linux backbone. You will address issues such as performance and scale, work in a team with positive vibes, and be able to influence others and the product itself. U.S. Citizenship (required for working in GovCloud environments) Location: Remote (DMV area) Salary: $180k - $240k (will fluctuate pending experience) Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in server backend design and development of production applications Experience in Python - Must Experience with databases (preferably SQL) - Must Experience working on large-scale systems - Must Networking Infrastructure Knowledge Quick learner and team player Experience in Cyber Security – Advantage Hands-on experience with AWS Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools in a cloud-native environment. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and automation mindset. Responsibilities: Take full ownership over features, from product design to deployment, including whole feature architecture Plan, design, and develop systems with complex performance scale considerations Use, design, and maintain the company’s code infrastructure Support and enable our AWS GovCloud Operations Culture and Benefits: As a
