Licensed Service Electrician w/ heavy Fire Alarm Experience (Commercial Service) Professional Electrical Contractors (PEC) is accepting resumes for licensed journeyman Commercial Service Electrician with heavy Fire Alarm experience. Top priority will be given to candidates that have a strong background in Fire Alarm work. Our work involves retail, academic, healthcare, renewable energy, fire alarm & large PV projects and multi‑family housing projects. PEC is a Massachusetts‑based commercial electrical contractor that has been in business for over 42 years, with our corporate office located in Canton, MA. We offer above-average hourly compensation, plus a time‑and‑a‑quarter hourly rate when working nights, company van, gas card and company credit card for work purposes.
Job requirements:
Commercial Service experience, including retail service and heavy fire alarm experience.
Current valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment or components to identify hazards, defects or the need for adjustment or repair.
In‑depth knowledge of fire alarm installation.
Pipe bending and threading.
OSHA 10 Certification.
Mechanical and refrigeration wiring and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
