Financial Analyst – Real Estate, Financial Services and Economics
Chicago, IL (Willis Tower) Hybrid Schedule: in office 3 days, WFH 2 days
Summary The Financial Analyst willbe responsible for analyzing and interpreting market research data, maintain monthly and quarterly emerging trend products, and consult with senior management and investors on various data requests. The analyst will be an essential part of our collaborative culture and build enduring relationships across departments. The ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and can confidently present insights to multiple teams.
You’ll primary be doing financial modeling in Excel, but will also have an opportunity to work with Power BI to create data visualizations and reports. Your analysis skills and passion for telling stories with data is more important than the tech skills – but if you’re passionate about learning and working with new technology, you’ll have that opportunity with us!
What you’ll be doing
Analyze and maintain market industry data to produce valuable insights and explorations
Support investor and senior management data requests for strategic investment opportunities
Maintain a well-rounded understanding and position of sector industry trends
Assist in the development of quarterly emerging market trends commentary and monthly reports
Conduct and present project-based research, reporting and strategies
Perform special projects such as market deep dives and additional initiatives as assigned
Skills we’re seeking
Bachelor's Degree in finance, real estate, economics, business analytics, or data science
1+ year of experience doing financial modeling in financial services, real estate or other related industry
Strong Excel experience
Experience presenting financial models, reports and other data to key stakeholders
Nice to have experience
Experience building PowerPoint presentations
Experience with Power BI, or other BI tools to build reports and dashboards
