IT Site Reliability Engineer III – GCE - Global Connections to Employment. Remote Work Program: team members may work from home the balance of the work week. The Site Reliability Engineer III (Mid) may monitor, optimize, deploy, test, and maintain system software and operating systems (e.g., Linux/Windows). Responsibilities include installing, patching, implementing DoD security‑mandated configuration and best practices, troubleshooting, resolving functional, software, OS, and networking problems, providing performance metrics, and optimizing system/software performance. The engineer supports on‑prem and cloud hosting environments for production and DevSecOps systems, processes, and software. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a similar role. In‑depth knowledge of cloud‑native architectures and microservices. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and experience with infrastructure‑as‑code. Strong expertise in container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm) and virtualization technologies (VMWare). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI). Solid grasp of Linux Command Line (CLI) and package management tools (e.g., yum, apt, dnf). Solid understanding of relational and non‑relational database technologies (e.g., Oracle DB, MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB). Solid understanding of the Java Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and enterprise Java Application servers (e.g., JBoss EAP, Wildfly, Glassfish ESB). Solid ability to automate and reduce manual processing tasks. Previous experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure). Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a public trust clearance or higher. The compensation salary for this position is $112,375.00 - $132,451.00 per year. Location Requirements
