Our Client, a Real Estate and Financial Services company, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for their Mclean, VA location.
Responsibilities
Analyze large, complex datasets related to multifamily properties and mortgage portfolios to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Design and implement data models and pipelines using RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), MongoDB, and other NoSQL databases.
Utilize Informatica Cloud, including Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), for data integration, profiling, and data quality monitoring across business datasets.
Define and implement data quality rules, scorecards, and dashboards using IDQ to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-impact analytics solutions.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple sources and platforms.
Support data governance initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics).
5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with at least 2 years in the multifamily real estate or mortgage industry.
Deep understanding of multifamily business operations, property management, and mortgage processes.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with RDBMS databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Hands-on experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
Proven experience with Informatica Cloud, including strong knowledge of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) for data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in statistical analysis and data modeling.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipeline development.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the mortgage industry.
Project management experience.
