Central Fill Pharmacy Technician Highlights • The pay for this position is
$26.00 per hour. •
Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
schedule. • Candidate must be prepared for a
schedule change after 4 weeks
depending on business needs. The schedule could shift to
Sunday – Thursday
(Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM). • This position is
full-time.
Responsibilities • Accurately and efficiently fill prescription requests in a high-volume, automated refill environment under the supervision of a pharmacist. • Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules; verify size, strength, and quantity. • Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells, scan barcodes, and perform expiration and lot tracking. • Complete weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory audits and discrepancy resolution. • Prepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions following handling and packing protocols. • Assist with packing, shipping, and compliance with all HIPAA and pharmacy regulations. • Maintain and clean automated dispensing cells; perform calibration and part replacement as needed. • Recognize, address, and escalate workflow or quality issues to management.
Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent required. •
Active California Pharmacy Technician License required. • Minimum
1 year of pharmacy technician experience
(excluding externships or training). • Experience in a
fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy or production environment
preferred. • Knowledge of federal and state HIPAA laws. • PTCB certification preferred. • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 10 lbs, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
