Anticipated Schedule

Option #1 - Overnights: 12am to 8am

Option #2 - Days: 6am to 2pm

About The Role As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. You will be at the forefront of daily interactions with cross‑functional teams, orchestrating efforts to maintain safety standards while achieving operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a shared shift to guarantee successful launches and sorts, in collaboration with both the Veho team and our valued driver partners.

Quickly navigate technology platforms to manage operational changes, re‑routes, and other logistical challenges with ease and efficiency.

Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross‑functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, prioritizing safety and driving success.

Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.

Execute with a focus on customer service, providing high levels of support and assistance to our crowd‑sourced driver partners and internal teams.

Work well in a fast‑paced environment that is, at times, physically tasking.

Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively lead a shift.

Stand for extended periods, move boxes up and down, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs., ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.

Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.

Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.

Proficiency in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.

Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.

Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.
