Responsibilities Provide transcriptions, annotations, and translations for the corpus and review them for errors. Add transcripts and subtitles to A/V materials. In addition, assist in identifying and selecting Hmong language materials for inclusion in the corpus.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Experience in transcription and Hmong language translation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to transcribe, annotate, and translate Hmong language texts and review them for errors. Able to work at least 11 hours of work per month for 11 months on the UMN Hmong Corpus.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range:

$20.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.

Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications.
