Job Description & Duties The Electric Pricing and Customer Program (EPCP) Branch, within the Public Advocates Office, seeks a Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst III/II to support the Customer Programs team. The role focuses on distributed energy resources, building decarbonization, zero‑emission alternatives, and associated ratepayer interests.
Conduct technical economic, financial, and policy research and analysis on issues such as building decarbonization, electrification, and distributed energy resources.
Prepare reports, testimony, and other materials; write presentations and policy briefs for senior staff and management.
Represent Ratepayer interests in workshops, working groups, industry and stakeholder meetings, and legislative hearings.
Manage multi‑disciplinary projects, establish priorities, and coordinate team efforts under general direction of the Program and Project Supervisor.
Qualifications • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex analysis to decision makers.
• Proven experience in policy, economic, or financial analysis with demonstrated recommendations.
• Leadership experience in project or team settings, establishing priorities and taking effective action.
• Experience presenting to decision makers and delivering persuasive advocacy.
