Job Details Our team represents clients in a wide range of projects — including commercial, industrial, public works, military, hotel, sports facility, hospital, infrastructure, multi-family, and mixed-use developments. We assist with everything from front-end contract drafting to back-end dispute resolution, including mechanic’s liens, construction and design defects, payment disputes, bid protests, and claims before contract boards of appeal or government agencies. We are proud to be a trusted partner to many of the region’s leading developers, contractors, and construction professionals, offering a blend of deep industry knowledge and sophisticated legal insight that sets us apart in Colorado’s construction law community.
Handle a broad range of construction-related cases from inception through resolution
Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
Represent clients in state and federal court, arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings
Manage discovery, including depositions, written discovery, and document review
Prepare and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs
Enforce and defend mechanic’s lien and payment bond claims (Miller Act, public/private work)
Advise clients on claims preparation, risk management, and dispute avoidance
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop practical, results-oriented legal strategies
Qualifications
J.D. and active license to practice in Colorado
Minimum 2+ years of construction law or complex commercial litigation experience
