You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.# **A Day in the Life**The Digitalization Engineer will lead and support multiple digital transformation initiatives focused on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configuration, validation, and workflow creation; Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) deployment; and Site-Wide Labeling System integration. This role bridges operations, IT, and quality to design, implement, and validate digital solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency, compliance, and traceability.

Sponsorship is not available for this role.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.* **MES Configuration, Validation & Workflow Development*** + Configure, customize, and maintain MES applications to align with production and quality processes.

+ Develop digital workflows within MES for production execution, traceability, and paperless operations.

+ Design and validate operational and management reports within MES to support data-driven decision-making.

+ Attend CM sprint review meetings to evaluate and identify new MES features for site integration.

+ Write and Execute UAT Scripts

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document requirements, perform testing, and manage system releases.

+ Provide training and ongoing support to end users on MES functionalities.* **OEE Deployment and Optimization*** + Lead deployment of OEE systems across production lines and manufacturing assets.

+ Design and implement real-time OEE dashboards to track equipment performance and downtime.

+ Integrate OEE solutions with MES and other shopfloor systems for seamless data flow.

+ Analyze performance data to identify losses, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

+ Partner with maintenance, production, and continuous improvement teams to drive productivity and efficiency initiatives.* **Labeling System Integration & Site-Wide Standardization*** + Support the implementation and validation of site-wide labeling initiatives to ensure compliance, consistency, and efficiency across operations.

+ Collaborate with IT, Quality, and Production teams to integrate labeling systems with MES, ERP, and serialization systems.

+ Configure and test label templates, data mapping, and printing workflows in accordance with site and regulatory requirements.

+ Participate in process design, risk assessment, and validation documentation related to labeling system implementation.

+ Ensure labeling processes comply with internal standards and external regulatory expectations.* **Process Validation and Continuous Improvement*** + Lead or support process validation activities related to digital systems and workflows (IQ/OQ/PQ).

+ Ensure documentation, change control, and traceability for all validated systems and process modifications.

+ Partner with Quality and Engineering to maintain validation status and compliance during system lifecycle management.

+ Continuously evaluate digital tools and technologies to enhance manufacturing performance and data integrity.* **General Digitalization Responsibilities*** + Contribute to the identification, planning, and execution of digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

+ Provide technical expertise and support for integration of IoT devices, data collection systems, and analytics platforms.

PR) locations (USD):$100,000.00 - $150,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).## ## The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
