Generate sales by providing excellent customer service, meeting or exceeding company objectives in all individual statistics, and maintaining store visual guidelines. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of associates’ sales performance, offer feedback on strength and opportunity areas, adhere to visual merchandising standards, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Responsibilities
Produce sales gains and provide outstanding customer service. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual performance statistics. Document and appraise associates’ sales performance, offering constructive feedback. Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Protect company assets within Lids Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules and ensuring proper coverage within wage control guidelines. Accurately manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts. Document and maintain records per Lids Retail policies and state/federal laws. Open and close the store following procedures from the Operations P&P Manual. Support and adhere to all Lids policies, procedures, and guidelines. Participate in training programs, recruit and train store personnel, and encourage compliance with company policies. Communicate with employees at all levels and perform work of subordinates as needed. Job Required Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience. Proven ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication. Basic computer operation and related software proficiency. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work overhead. Standing required for the full duration of work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Qualifications
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Mangers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Reports To
