Responsibilities Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the Radiology Technician I (Cath Lab) will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. The technician ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure, monitors the par level of all instruments and supplies, participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and trains new staff. Additionally, the technician assists in all aspects of invasive and non‑invasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

ARRT‑R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.

Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.

Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 - $51.66. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection of an applicant for hire and will consider factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
